Each year Pearlgate Track and Field Club employees summer students(subject to government funding). Facility Manager
Set up, co-ordinate and oversee the total running of the facility on a day to day basis so that the facility is working at peak efficiency. Delegate and ensure facility work is completed as required and in a timely fashion. This Student will assist in various track meets throughout the summer months.
This position is best suited to a mature, well-organized, take-charge type person, who can work independently.
Summer Program Co-ordinator
Co-ordinate and Supervise all track related activities. Prepare reports for participants of summer programs. General Office work. Facility Maintenance. Coach athletes as needed. This Student will assist in various track meets throughout the summer months.
Coaches
Plan activities, instruct and coach track and field participants. Supervise the proper and safe use of equipment Ensure proper storage of equipment. General office work. This Student will assist in various track meets throughout the summer months.
Coaching will be a big part of this student’s work and as such the candidate should have knowledge of the sport of track and field. Any student involved in sports would be a definite asset.
Day Camp Co-ordinator
Coordinates and plans activities for the children participating in the summer day camp programs. Ensures children are well supervised and kept active. Prepares reports for participants. General Office Work. Must be able to deal with parents and children. This Student will assist in various track meets throughout the summer months.
Day Camp Counsellors
Assists the Day Camp Coordinator with planning of activities for the children participating in the summer day camp programs. Ensures children are well supervised and kept active. General Office Work. Must be able to deal with children. This Student will assist in various track meets throughout the summer months. Suitable for high school students.
Facility Attendants
Facility and equipment maintenance. Ensure proper storage and safe use of equipment. General office work. Must be able to deal with the public. This Student will assist in various track meets throughout the summer months. Suitable for high school students.
